I just came across the Echolink iPhone app. It seems very good, most of the features that are in the windows version are there. Very easy to setup and worked first time connecting to my own repeater.
Works also on the iPod Touch with the iPhone headset/mic.
Most impressed. Kudos to Jonathan Taylor, K1RFD
I’ve had some time (at 4.30am) to do some work on the IRLP box. I added the following codes. Prefix each number with a ‘*’.
i.e. for current node status press ‘*1′

2 = Say Node Callsign Station ID
3 = Say Current Local Date & Time
4 = Say Callsign ID & Date/Time
10 = Say Last Call In & When
11 = Say Last Out & When
12 = Say Last Call Waiting & When
13 = Say All Last Calls – No Date/Time
20 = Callback Last Call In
21 = Callback Last Call Out
22 or 69 = Callback Last Call Waiting
23 = Callback Last Connected Node
30 = Current Weather Report from Albany Airport
31 = Current Weather report from KC2EUS Weather Station (Gloversville)
32 = Active (if any) NWS Alert for Southern Fulton County
33 = NWS Forcast for Southern Fulton County
- Finish installing the IRLP Repeater scripts so it’s back to where it used to be.
- Burn new Eprom for the KC2EUS-5 Digipeater. Rename it to K2JJI-2.
- Re tuneĀ Data radio’s to APRS frequency for mobile tracker.
- Work on this website, now that I blew everything away !
- Remind myself that there are only so many hours in the day ….
