I just came across the Echolink iPhone app. It seems very good, most of the features that are in the windows version are there. Very easy to setup and worked first time connecting to my own repeater.
Works also on the iPod Touch with the iPhone headset/mic.
Most impressed. Kudos to Jonathan Taylor, K1RFD

Here’s a great demo of the Yaesu VX8r HT with the optional GPS for APRS. As usual a nice video from wG0AT.

• Finish installing the IRLP Repeater scripts so it’s back to where it used to be.
• Burn new Eprom for the KC2EUS-5 Digipeater. Rename it to K2JJI-2.
• Re tune  Data radio’s to APRS frequency for mobile tracker.
• Work on this website, now that I blew everything away !
• Remind myself that there are only so many hours in the day ….
